Theodore Dwight correspondence and papers, 1820-1840.

Correspondence sent to Theodore Dwight and some of Dwight's writings. Among his accomplishments, Dwight served as secretary of the Hartford Convention (1814-1815) and later wrote a history of the convention. The writings in the collection include character sketches of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
